Debanjana Paul
Economic Opportunities Officer
Debanjana has joined as the NUNV Economic Opportunities Officer at UNICEF, New Delhi where she works on job connects, entrepreneurship, and apprenticeship for the youth of India. She has 2.5 years of work experience and has previously worked with national and international NGOs in India in the capacity of project manager and monitoring and evaluation specialist.
Debanjana holds a bachelor's degree in Economics (Hons) from Christ University, Bengaluru, and is also an alum of SOAS, University of London where she pursued a master's degree in Development Studies. Her interest primarily lies around the issues of gender and she is keen to explore the same across various themes.
She is also working to build a social enterprise in the textile upcycling space to create income generating opportunities for vulnerable communities. She enjoys reading and painting, whenever she is not binge-watching a series!
