Strategic Advisor

As Strategic Advisor to UNICEF India, Madan has helped shape the India strategy & partnerships for YuWaah, a global partnership that aims to ensure that every young person is in education, learning, training or employment by 2030. He is also a founding Partner of Social Venture Partners, Bangalore and is the Convener of the Million Jobs Mission. He is also an active member of the Governing Council of TiE Bangalore and had served as a Senior Advisor to Tata Trusts between 2015-2016.

Madan is also the co-founder of Global Alliance for Mass Entrepreneurship (GAME), a network that aims to catalyse large-scale job creation by bringing together Government, Businesses & Civil Society organisations to work collaboratively on igniting a mass entrepreneurship movement

As entrepreneur & angel investor, Madan is working at the intersection of youth transformation and driving rural growth by empowering social change-makers and by creating mass entrepreneurs.

 In 2016, he founded 1Bridge, with the vision to give access, choice and convenience to the Rural-Urban (Ruban) consumers. 1Bridge aims to deliver top notch consumer experience to Ruban consumers using a unique model, which seamlessly integrates the online and offline worlds. 1Bridge is present in 40+ districts across South & East India and has over 1000+ rural youth engaged in delivering services to rural consumers.

 In early 2000, He co-founded MeritTrac, India's Largest Skills Assessment Company.  Madan is also the Managing Trustee of Head Held High Foundation, a non-profit that stands for human dignity. HHH focuses on initiatives for poverty eradication like Make India Capable, where a rural youth with no schooling is transformed into work-ready professionals and Global Action on Poverty (GAP) a platform that builds and supports Changemaking communities to eradicate poverty.
