Nadia Merdassi

Nadia Merdassi has over 15 years of experience in the multilateral sector and has served in client and customer-facing positions at the headquarters and regional offices of preeminent multilateral organizations including the African Development Bank (AfDB) and the World Bank Group (WBG) as well as the private sector.

As a Program Officer at the WBG where she oversaw the management and operations of the WBG’s Visitor’s Center. Nadia’s efforts at the Center have led to a daily attendance of nearly 34,000 visitors in two years and engagement with a variety of audiences. Nadia managed several successful high-level panel, led the dissemination of evaluation reports and formulated outreach strategies for work done by leading evaluators within the WBG.

Nadia had over 10 years of experience at the AfDB where she worked in several areas including budget management, services and operations. Highlights of her time at the AfDB include her ‘Green Bank Initiative’ which helped improve energy efficiency among 1,300 regional employees.

Nadia also has communications experience in the private sector. She has Master of Science degrees in Environmental Science and Technology and Management/MBA. Additionally, she is a certified PMP, an Associate Certified Coach and a certified Leadership Coach, American University.
