Tript Kaur
Program Officer, Punjab
Tript is the NUNV Programme Officer for Punjab, at YuWaah. She completed her BA (Hons) English degree from Lady Shri Ram College, University of Delhi, and then studied for the MPhil in Modern South Asian Studies at the University of Cambridge, specialising in literature, politics, psychology and history. She has previously undertaken programme design and management, partnerships and liaison, and research, analysis and editing roles, particularly in development and policy-making spaces. Her academic qualifications and work experience focus on children, adolescent and youth development, conflict and marginalisation, and gender and human rights. At YuWaah, she works to enable youth from Punjab to access employment support, skilling and learning, and civic engagement opportunities.
Tript also writes creatively in English, Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu, and her work has appeared in The Economic and Political Weekly, The Indian Express, Scroll, The Tribune, People’s Archive of Rural India, BARZAKH Literary Magazine, and elsewhere. You can find her marveling over children’s fiction, anime, and dark satire.
